She ran an art gallery promoting artists in Poland and abroad. She carried out a number of photographic projects in cooperation with the Melon Studio.

Barbara Pol graduated of the history of art at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Since 2010 she has been learning ceramic craftsmanship at Barbara Turkiewicz’s studio. In 2019 she created the 1210c brand and opened her own studio in Warsaw's Mokotów Fort.

1210c is an authored ceramic brand created by Barbara Pol. The number stands for the temperature of enamel firing. 1210 degrees and the letter C for Celsius - 1210c.

The studio located in Warsaw’s Mokotow Fort is a place where short series of dishes and personalized sets are made. The whole process of making an item is hand-made, hence there are no two identical pieces. Repeatability is possible, but subject to a certain tolerance margin. Every piece is unique and can be used to build sets.

The Zone of Polish Designers is a new space whose aim is to present the most interesting projects of Polish designers to a wide audience. We display works that show innovative and unconventional attitude towards already well known topics and forms with their original styling and ingenuity. Participation in the first edition of the program was confirmed by 27 artists who will present the most interesting works in the space designed by creative director Maria Jeglińska-Adamczewska.
