motto of the ARENA DESIGN
The motto of the ARENA DESIGN 2019 is TransFormations. TransFormations are a characteristic form of development in the world shaped by humans, and design is one of the most difficult concepts to explain. Why? Because it is a word whose definition is constantly changing - it is in a constant "transformation".
At the same time, technological progress and social changes translate into a production and production process. This, in turn, is not without significance for the work of designers who have to adapt to the new market conditions and technologies available on the market, and thus are forced to constantly search for new professional roads.
During the ARENA DESIGN, we will look at TransFormations in the context of the design ecosystem, taking into the workshop not only the materials that make up the product. We will not escape the discussion about building the brand identity.
The tradition of the ARENA DESIGN become the meetings with well-known, world-renowned designers who shared their knowledge, they spoke about their inspirations, unusual ideas, passion for design, but also about the problems encountered by the collision with the producer or the consumer. So far, lectures in Poznań have been conducted by: representatives of the Ligne Roset brand, designers from Doshi Levien studio, Inga Sempé, Edward Barber from the Barber & Osgerba studio, Brodie Neill, Sander Mulder, the FRONT DESIGN project group - Sofia Lagerkvist, Charlotte von der Lancken, Anna Lindgren, Francois Azambourg, Karim Rashid, Werner Aisslinger.
