Ola Mirecka - In the Zone of Polish Designers
She runs a multidisciplinary studio designing products and experiences often combining traditional craft with new technologies.
Ola Mirecka currently Denmark based Polish born designer Ola Mirecka is a graduate from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and the Royal College of Art in London. For over 3 years she was designing for LEGO System A/S where she currently works as a consultant.
Through hands-on experimental and interactive processes, she is investigating how play can be used as a tool for innovation and how being playful can help to solve problems in the grown-up world.
Forms of the Future
The Zone of Polish Designers is a new space whose aim is to present the most interesting projects of Polish designers to a wide audience. We display works that show innovative and unconventional attitude towards already well known topics and forms with their original styling and ingenuity. Participation in the first edition of the program was confirmed by 27 artists who will present the most interesting works in the space designed by creative director Maria Jeglińska-Adamczewska.
